RSS Feeds

What is RSS?
RSS is a popular XML/HTTP mechanism that allows users to subscribe to data feeds using select news readers, browsers and email clients. An available feed for data is signified by the Standard Newsfeed Icon standard web newsfeed icon. Clicking on the icon generally takes you to the newsfeed itself, or information about the newsfeed.

What Programs support RSS Newsfeeds?
RSS News Readers (aka: News Aggregators) are used to download, display and subscribe to RSS feeds.

Major Web Browsers and Email clients are also becoming RSS aware, making RSS Feeds more popular than ever. Mozilla Firebird, Apple Safari and Microsoft IE 7 are the most ubiquitous programs supporting RSS Newsfeeds today.
